The Miners Rest Hotel & Restaurant is looking for a motivated Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.
We are a busy, quality-focused hotel and restaurant serving seasonal dishes in a welcoming and professional environment. We’re looking for someone who brings energy, initiative and a positive team attitude just as much as experience.
The Role
Working closely with the Head Chef, you will help lead day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining high food standards and a supportive team culture.

Responsibilities
Supporting the Head Chef with kitchen management
Maintaining food quality and presentation standards
Assisting with ordering, prep planning and stock control
Helping train and develop junior chefs
Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
