Our team are opening a new restaurant this year and am currently looking to recruit a sushi chef for one available position.
The role primarily involves preparing and handling fish, specifically for sushi dishes such as Nigiri and Maki rolls, along with additional side dishes. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently in fish preparation and have at least four years of kitchen experience.
This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Sushi Chef located in Oxford. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for preparing sushi dishes, maintaining high standards of food hygiene, and ensuring the freshness and quality of seafood. Daily tasks include food preparation, cooking various sushi dishes, maintaining clean and organized workstations, and collaborating with kitchen staff to deliver the best culinary experience.

Food Preparation, Cooking, Culinary Skills
Maintaining Hygiene, and Quality Control
Knowledge of Seafood and Its Preparation
Good teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role is preferred
Relevant culinary certifications would be an advantage
