Le Péché Mignon, an established French café and bistro nestled in the heart of Bishop's Stortford, is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team full-time.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled chef with a love for French-inspired cuisine and fresh, seasonal ingredients. You’ll take the lead in the kitchen, contributing to menu creation while managing day-to-day operations with confidence and flair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and developing seasonal menus with a French café and bistro influence
• Overseeing stock control and placing orders with suppliers
• Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and kitchen health & safety
• Maintaining a clean, efficient, and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality establishment using fresh ingredients
• A strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
• Creative flair with a genuine passion for food
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
