Bradmores Coffee is a busy village coffee shop in the heart of Brookmans Park. We are a daytime-only concept with a strong focus on quality, presentation, and creating a welcoming community atmosphere. Our brand-new kitchen is designed for efficiency and high standards, and we pride ourselves on fresh, well-executed food and excellent teamwork.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to lead and execute our daytime food offering. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured, Monday–Friday role with no evenings.
You will be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality food across our breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus in a fast-paced but friendly village environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver high-quality sandwiches, toasties, breakfast and brunch dishes
Ensure excellent food presentation – attention to detail is essential
Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and plating
Manage prep efficiently to support busy service periods
Maintain strict stock rotation (FIFO) and ensure correct storage procedures
Monitor and manage use-by dates diligently to maintain food safety compliance
Reduce waste through careful stock control and forward planning
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety (HACCP compliant)
Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements
Work closely with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
Contribute ideas for seasonal specials and menu development
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Chef or strong CDP in a café or brunch environment
Strong breakfast and brunch experience preferred
Confident in stock management, rotation, and date control procedures
Ability to work effectively within a small team environment
Clear and professional communication skills
A genuine courteous and professional manner
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
High standards of hygiene and kitchen discipline
Passion for fresh food and beautiful presentation
Reliable and punctual
