It explains who we are, and why and how we process personal information. If you are the subject of any of the personal information that we process, this policy explains what rights you have, and how to get in touch with us if you wish to.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We are a UK company that operates a website (www.onlychefs.co.uk) that provides chefs and other hospitality professionals who seek employment with the opportunity to showcase their expertise and experience to potential employers, and employers in the hospitality industry with the opportunity to identify and contact potential employees.
WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
How we process personal information depends on the purpose for which we obtain it and the individual to whom it relates. We will normally only process personal information relating to you if:
- If you are a chef or other hospitality professional (a jobseeker) who registers on our platform and puts information about themselves on the platform so that it can be viewed by potential employers.
- If you are an employer (or a member of staff of an employer) who registers on our platform for the purpose of looking for and contacting jobseekers whose details are on the platform.
- If we wish to send you advertising, marketing or promotional material in relation to our services.
- If you browse our website.
- If you interact with us via social media.
- If you provide goods or services; or you work for, or otherwise represent, someone who supplies goods or services, to us in relation to our business.

If you are a chef or other hospitality professional seeking employment | |

Most of your personal information is collected directly from you, with the exception of information about your use of our website or social media, which we collect incidentally during your use of the website or social media.
WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH?
If you are a jobseeker, then we share your personal information with potential employers who are registered to use the platform, to enable them to consider you for, and contact you in relation to, potential employment. Your personal information is shared with potential employers on the basis of a data sharing agreement between us and them, which restricts the way in which, and the purposes for which, they are entitled to process your personal information, and which requires them to contact you to tell you that they have your personal information and the basis on which they propose to retain and use it.
Otherwise:
- Your name, contact, and payment details may be shared with relevant financial institutions (for example, your bank) or payment service providers, for the purpose of processing any relevant financial transaction with you in relation to the app (for example, your subscription); and
- Service providers contracted to us in order to support and maintain our systems or business may obtain incidental access to your personal information when doing so; each such service provider will be party to a contract with us which protects the security and confidentiality or your data, and under which the service provider undertakes to comply with the relevant data protection regulations.
