About the role
ABOUT THE ROLE
Copper Pot Kitchen is looking for an experienced, reliable chef to join our catering team. We cater for private houses, groups and events around Carlingford and the surrounding area, covering breakfasts, buffets, BBQs, bistro-style dinners and private catering.
Most of our production is concentrated around Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so flexibility toward the weekend is important.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Food preparation and cooking for weekend catering jobs
- Working from our production kitchen in Jonesborough
- Preparing breakfasts, buffets, BBQs and bistro dishes
- Portioning, organising and getting orders ready for delivery/service
- Deliveries and collections when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
- Working independently when required
- Helping keep production running efficiently during busy periods
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Solid professional kitchen experience
- A clean driving licence — essential
- Confidence working independently
- Organised, fast and reliable
- Good food safety and kitchen standards
- Able to handle changing volumes in a busy catering environment
- Takes responsibility rather than needing constant supervision
