Temporary Standalone Chef at Colour Sound Experiment in Rebekah Mayes, on Only Chefs.
We are seeking an experienced, reliable relief Canteen Chef to cover staff annual leave for 3 weeks. You will be running our staff canteen independently, managing daily breakfast and lunch prep, service, and kitchen clean-down.
October 7th - October 27th
7am - 4:30pm, 30 mins unpaid break
Monday - Friday
Breakfast, 2 mains (one vegan) and a dessert option daily
Your first day (Wednesday 7th October) will be a full handover shift working alongside our current chef to show you around the kitchen, equipment, and standard routines. From Thursday 8th, you will take ownership of the solo operation.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience working as a standalone or sole canteen/catering chef.
Confident managing prep, service, and closing procedures independently.
Strong hygiene standards.
Punctual, proactive, and friendly customer-facing attitude.
